CC Girls Lacrosse Vs. Westford Academy

CC Girls lacrosse took on Westford academy on a summer-like Tuesday, winning 12-6. Westford academy jumped out to a 5-1 lead early before CC coach Paul Morrison called a timeout with 10 minutes remaining in the half. After the quick break CC cut the deficit to 5-6 by halftime.

Then in the second half the patriots came out firing on all cylinders, scoring three quick unanswered goals, with Payton and Fallon Vaughn leading the charge. The patriots steadily added to their lead over the course of the second half and held the grey ghosts scoreless for the whole second half with goalie Amelia Slade stepping up to make key saves throughout the half. The final score was 12-6 with the Patriots ending the game on a 7-0 run. The patriots take a 4-0 record into a huge game under the lights at LS on Thursday.
